Description

Circa 1950 Connie Mack Single Signed Baseball. He began his career as a twenty-three year old catcher at Swampoodle Grounds, the home ballpark of the 1886 Washington Nationals, and concluded his sixty-six years in Major League Baseball at Shibe Park as manager of the 1950 Philadelphia Athletics. One of the most fascinating and enduring figures of our National Pastime, Mr. McGillicuddy provides a 8.5/10 signature on the sweet spot of the provided OAL (Harridge) ball, with a "To Leon" personalization on the northern panel. A tough Hall of Fame single despite Mack's lengthy service to the game. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
