Description

Circa 1950 Connie Mack Signed Baseball. One of the most pristine signatures on a baseball you'll ever encounter from the grand old man of baseball, who dedicated sixty-six years of his life to the professional game. This OAL (Harridge) ball dates from close to the end of that epic run, as the unique stamping could be no earlier than 1946. The massive black fountain pen autograph commands almost a third of the sphere's equator, and resonates at a strength of 9+/10. It must be noted that other autographs once joining Mack's have been removed through a chemical process to leave not even the faintest sign of their former presence. The result is a ball that would challenge for the title of "finest known" if it were a true single, made affordable to the budget-minded hobbyist. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
    Guide Value or Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
