    Description

Circa 1940 Ty Cobb & Joe DiMaggio Signed Baseball. The Georgia Peach and the Yankee Clipper fight their own Civil War on the side panel of the presented "Reach League Ball," two of twelve autographs present on the listed antique orb. Cobb rates 7/10, DiMaggio perhaps 5/10. Other names include Lefty O'Doul, Art Garibaldi, Sam Gibson, Floyd Newkirk, Bert Cole and Larry Woodall. These range from 3/10 to 7/10 in strength. Of course it's the unusual pairing of two of the game's greatest batsmen that makes this one a winner though, and their positioning together on a side panel is a true stroke of luck. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
