    Description

Circa 1940 Harry Hooper Single Signed Baseball. He became the first man to hit two home runs in a single World Series game on October 13, 1915, and remains one of just two players (Heinie Wagner is the other) to win four World Championships as a member of the Boston Red Sox. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame over a half century after his final at-bat, Hooper presents an enormous challenge to collectors of Cooperstown singles, and here we present an OAL (Harridge) ball blessed with a bold 8.5/10 side panel signature in blue fountain pen ink. The impressive state of preservation is due in part to a vintage coating of shellac that has given the ball a vintage, amber tone. Just the second Hooper single we've had the opportunity to offer. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
