    Description

Circa 1940 Bucky Harris Single Signed Baseball. Booking at $2,500 in Sports Market Report, the Bucky Harris single has long been a stumbling block for the Hall of Fame autographed baseball collector. Though Harris' career as both a player and manager found him wearing a Big League uniform for close to four decades, very few single signed baseballs were borne of that lengthy tenure. Here we present a sweet spot signature on an OAL (Harridge) ball, rating a 6/10 in Harris' vintage blue ink. Scattered surface wear and minor toning have no negative effect upon the autograph. A solid specimen to fill that pesky hole in many a collection. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
