    Description

Circa 1940 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball.
Babe Ruth single signed baseballs are the quintessential sports collectible - coveted, collected and cherished ever since the Babe first signing them a century ago. The specimen on offer here dates from circa 1940. The Sultan blessed the sweet spot of this "Official Reach League Ball" with his customary black fountain pen. The ball has some minor discoloration and wear but still presents cleanly. Ruth's signature is a tad off-center to the right but is large and prominent. While "Babe" is a bit lighter than "Ruth", it is very legible and the entire signature still jumps out from the ball. A great opportunity to own a respectable Ruth specimen at a reasonable price. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
