    Description

Circa 1934 Babe Ruth & Mel Ott Signed Baseball. An exceptionally bold black fountain signature from the mighty Babe lies between the black and red stitching of the provided ONL (Heydler) ball, one that suggests All-Star Game derivation, but with a few attendees that throw the theory into question. The Ruth autograph remains untouched and 100% original, as do fellow Big Apple legends Mel Ott (4/10), Lefty O'Doul (4/10) and Frank Crosetti (6/10), but we must report that the signatures of Gehrig, Hornsby, Gomez, Jackson, Lazzeri, Terry, Hubbell and Heffner have been skillfully enhanced. Ball has been shellacked, with surface wear evident. One of the only balls we've encountered with the first and third members of the 500 Home Run Club together. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
