Description

Circa 1930 Multi-Signed Baseball with Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig. A Yankees versus Senators battle is the likely genesis of this relic, though the National League ball is a bit of a mystery. But no matter--the end result is a star-spangled hunk of horsehide. Hall of Fame Senators owner/manager Clark Griffith (7/10) begins the proceedings with a sweet spot signature, leading into a Babe Ruth (7/10) to the right. Gehrig (6/10) hems Griffith in from the left. Other notables include Goose Goslin (5/10), Walter Johnson (2/10), Myles Thomas (6/10), Lyn Lary (7/10), Arthur Fletcher (6/10) and more. We count sixteen signature in total, with most not listed quite light. Condition issues must be forgiven in light of the legendary cast of signers. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
