    Description

Circa 1930 Ed Walsh Signed Baseball. Baseball's last forty-game winner, spitballer Ed Walsh logged a record 464 innings in achieving that feat in 1908. Here we find his tough blue fountain pen ink on the side panel of an OAL (Barnard) ball, sealed with 6/10 boldness beneath a vintage coating of shellac. Our autograph authenticators point to surface abrasions as indication of signature removals so we don't declare single signed status here, but it sure looks like one to our eyes. Walsh is always very tough on horsehide though, so it's a winner either way. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
