Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. The roster of names matches no team, standard or All-Star, suggesting that the derivation is a banquet of some sort or perhaps simply the result of several different trips to the ballpark by the ball's original owner. However if there is any theme, it's one of greatness, as the legendary Babe Ruth is joined by fellow Hall of Famers Lefty Gomez, Heinie Manush, Joe Cronin, Earle Combs and Joe Sewell. Ruth's 1934 Tour of Japan buddy Moe Berg is here as well. Autographs range from 3/10 to 7/10, with the Babe at the top of that spectrum. Eleven autographs in total on a red and blue stitched OAL (Harridge) sphere. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
