    Description

Circa 1925 Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker & Nick Altrock Signed Baseball. Our best guess at the derivation of this special OAL (Johnson) sphere is a Christy Walsh promotion at a World Series contest, as these three Golden Age stars were closely affiliated with the pioneering sports agent. The Big Train claims sweet spot duties, his black fountain pen signature retaining a boldness of 5/10 after the better part of a century's existence. Just to the left is an equally bold Speaker, though an abrasion affects his first name. Altrock rates about a 7/10 to the north. The ball exhibits toning and handling wear but still presents nicely. This is a ball that could present convincingly as a single for all three of the signers. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
