    Additional Information: Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 15, Col. James Benson Irwin became the eighth man to ever set foot on the surface of the Moon on July 30th, 1971. Tragically Irwin became the first man that had walked on the moon to pass away after a heart attack in 1991. While his signature may not be the most sought-after in space collecting circles this is the only baseball featuring his signature that we have been able to find a record of.
