    Description

1998 New York Yankees Signed Baseball Collection Lot of 5. Brilliant collection of five baseballs has as its focus the 1998 New York Yankees. From a limited edition of 114 for each win that the team compiled that year, the lot includes 1) David Wells perfect game inscription single; 2) Scott Brosius WS MVP inscription single; 3) Shane Spencer grand slam inscription single; 4) 1998 Yankees team signed baseball including Jeter, Torre, Girardi, Williams, Martinez, Pettitte, Hernandez, O'Neill, Cone, Strawberry, Rivera and more. 5) A fifth ball was set aside for this issue to collect the signatures from pitchers Mendoza and Tewksbury from the Yankees' 5/16/98 game, but the signatures are absent, leaving this collection slightly incomplete. In any event the signatures we collect here serve as faithful mementos to that exceptional 1998 season that saw the Bronx Bombers lift yet another World Series trophy. LOA from PSA/DNA.
