    Description

1990's Alan Bean, John Glenn & Other Astronaut Signed Baseballs & Photograph Lot of 4. A fantastic lot for space enthusiasts, this one offers a little bit of everything. Two single signed baseballs start the lot, the first being a single signed ONL (White) ball signed by John Glenn on the side panel in 8/10 ink. Glenn was not only the first man to orbit the earth and part of the first moon landing, but also a long-time senator. Second is an OML (Selig) sphere autographed by Alan Bean of the Apollo 12 mission. Bean's signature rates a strong 10/10. The third baseball in the offering is a multi signed OAL (Budig) ball with Alan Bean "Apollo 12," Charlie Duke "Apollo 16," and Edgar Mitchell "Apollo 14." All are signed in 9-10/10 ball point pen.

Finally, the lot ends with a beautiful 11x14" photograph of the earth as viewed from the moon, with Alan Bean, Edgar Mitchell and Charlie Duke. All three have added their Apollo mission and are signed in 10/10 silver sharpie. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
