1990's-2000's Mickey Mantle Home Run Pitchers Multi-Signed Baseball. The Mick was famous for his 536 regular season and eighteen World Series homers, and one fan made use of a black-stitched Mantle memorial ball to compile the autographs of several men on the losing end of these long ball theatrics. The roster: 1) Randy Gumpert (no notation, but he gave up Mantle's first homer). 2) Paul Foytack, " I gave up Mantle's longest measured Home Run 9-10-60." This longball landed in front of a lumber yard across the street from Tiger Stadium. 3) Bill Fischer, " est 734 HR Mantle." Mantle's blast stuck the top of the Yankee Stadium facade, and bounced back to the infield. 4) Bob Gibson, " 18th WS HR 10/15/64." This was the last of Mantle's record-setting 18 World Series home runs. 5) Stu Miller, " I threw Mantle's 500th HR 5-14-66." 6) Barney Schultz, " Gave up Mantle's 16th W.S. HR 10-10-64." Babe Ruth held the World Series home run record with 15 until Mantle's meeting with the Cardinal reliever. 7) Jim Lonborg, " Mantle's Last HR #536 9-20-68." A couple that don't follow the precise theme: 8) Andy Kosco, " Replaced M. Mantle on 9/28/68." Kosco came in for Mantle, who never played again. 9) Luis Tiant, " Mantle's Last Hit 9-25-68." All ink remains very bold. Some minor toning. Accompanied by photos of Bill Fischer, Stu Miller, Barney Schultz, and Andy Kosco signing. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Photos from the signings.More information about Mickey Mantle.
