1980's Ted Williams "The Kid" Single Signed Baseball. While the "golden years" spent by the likes of Williams, Mantle and DiMaggio on the autograph circuit have left the hobby with no shortage of standard singles, "variation" balls continue to rise in value as collectors realize just how relatively scarce these examples are. You surely won't see too many like this one, a gorgeous blue ink sweet spot signature on an OAL (Brown) ball tagged with the Red Sox legend's youthful nickname. All writing registers at a strength of 9+/10, and the ball itself exhibits no flaws of note. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
