1979 Negro Leaguers Multi-Signed Baseball with Turkey Stearnes. Fantastic multi-signed sphere is highlighted by the appearance of the rare and important 2000 Hall of Fame inductee Norman "Turkey" Stearnes, who appears alone on the side panel of this "Official League" ball. We must stress that Stearnes is almost never found on baseballs, nor is he typically seen signing with his celebrated nickname. And, when one considers how convincingly this offering displays as a single (of which we've never seen a genuine example), the tremendous appeal is evident. Stearnes keeps impressive company here, joined by twelve Negro League luminaries including Banks, Leonard, Day, Dandridge, Irvin, Trouppe, Jake Stevens, Judy Johnson, Ted Page and even former barnstormer Bob Feller. An unknown hand dates the ball to "7/3/79." All autographs rate 9/10 or better. Definitely one of the toughest balls in the hobby dating to the last thirty years. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
