    Description

    1978 Red Barber Single Signed Baseball from Hall of Fame. The legendary radio announcer was inducted in 1973 to the Baseball Hall of Fame and returned along with former colleague Mel Allen in 1978 to become the first broadcasters to receive the Ford C. Frick Award. This non-official ball dates to that 1978 event, signed and dated by Barber in 9/10 ink and sealed under a coating of shellac along with the original owner's notation.
