Description

1970's Thurman Munson Single Signed Baseball. The fearless leader of the Yankee World Championship squads of the disco era, Captain Munson's tragic death as a result of an airplane accident has left just a shallow supply of quality autographs for the legions of collectors desiring one. This is particularly true of single signed baseballs, so we expect strong interest in this fine example, boasting an inscription applied to the side panel of a "Worth Official League" ball. The 9/10 blue ink reads, "To Tim, Best Regards, Thurman Munson." The ball itself is clean and evenly toned to a pleasing off-white shade. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
