    Description

1970's Ken Boyer Single Signed Baseball. The National League MVP during his St. Louis Cardinals' glorious 1964 World Championship season, Boyer was posthumously honored by the club in 1984 with the retirement of his number "14" jersey. His tragic early death at age fifty-one has limited the supply of his autograph considerably, particularly single signed baseballs such as the one presented here. His sweet spot blue ink registers at a strength of 9+/10 beneath a thin coating of shellac. Ball is ONL (Feeney). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
