    Description

1970's Hilton Smith Single Signed Baseball. The first and only Hilton Smith single to reach the auction block of a major house in the past decade, this specimen would likely rule as the finest in the hobby even if they were as common as Bob Feller balls. The ONL (Feeney) ball provides far more than just a 10/10 black ballpoint signature, making full use of the sweet spot and southern panel, reading, "Hilton Smith pitcher, Kansas City Monarchs, played 19 yrs 15 with KC Monarch." A winning bid will assure the new owner bragging rights over almost the entirety of the collecting community, as the vast majority of serious hobbyists lack a Smith representation of any quality, and certainly one as magnificent as this. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
