    Description

1970's Hank Greenberg Single Signed Baseball. Born in the Bronx in 1911, Greenberg was actually recruited by the New York Yankees in 1929 though the team's ownership of a rather dependable first baseman inspired Hank to instead attend NYU for a year before signing with the Detroit Tigers in 1930. Presented is an ONL (Feeney) ball signed late in the Hall of Fame slugger's life, inscribed "To Jeff, Best Wishes, Hank Greenberg" in 10/10 black marker. An expertly applied clear coat is partially to thank for the pristine condition of the signature. A rock-solid example of one of the most sought after singles in the hobby. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
