1969 New York Mets Team Signed Baseball. While reunion baseballs from this first Mets World Championship team are regularly seen in the hobby's marketplace, there is a genuine dearth of the vintage original, and particularly of high-quality representations such as the presented example. This ONL (Giles) sphere dates to that glorious Summer (or Fall) of 1969, featuring twenty-five genuine signatures from the Amazin' Mets. Notables include Ryan, Seaver, Koosman, Gentry, Garrett, Clendenon, McGraw, Kranepool, Jones and more. Signature quality averages 8.5/10, with none dipping below 7/10. Hodges is a stamp, as is typical of the time. A small stain on the western panel affects (minimally) only Ken Boswell. A splendid example of an essential team ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
