1968 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball. With an amazing array of Hall of Fame talent, the 1968 St. Louis Cardinals found themselves atop the National League at season's end, comfortably winning by nine games. Unfortunately, they lost to the Detroit Tigers in the World Series that year in seven games. The 24 signatures that appear on the ONL (Giles) baseball we see here include several HOFers such as Cepeda, manager Schoendienst, Gibson, Brock, and Carlton. Other inclusions here are greats such as Maris, Flood, Maxvill, and McCarver. Signatures average 6-9/10, with strong examples from Maris, Gibson, Brock and Carlton. LOA from PSA/DNA.
