1961 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It was one of the most thrilling seasons in nearly a century of Bronx baseball, the M&M Boys waging war on the game's single season home run record before leading the Yanks to the nineteenth World Championship in franchise history. Both Mantle and Maris appear in genuine format, a welcome departure from the norm, though we do note that a second, clubhouse Maris signature appears along with Rajah's genuine article. A full roster of thirty autographs appear in total, with Berra, Ford, Turley, Houk, Howard and Hale among them. Clubhouse signatures appear from Terry, Kubek, Boyer, a different Turley, Hegan, Clevenger and DeMaestri. The genuine Mantle and Maris rate 6/10 and 7/10 respectively, with the balance of the autographs matching or exceeding that strength with few exceptions. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
