    Description

1961 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It was one of the most magical seasons in baseball history, the sporting world held in rapt attention as a pair of New York Yankees chased the ghost of a third. Now, almost half a century later, we pull a rabbit out of the hat with the rare offering of a 1961 Yankees team ball with genuine signatures from both M&M boys. Serious collectors are well aware that the vast majority of 1961 and 1962 team balls from the Bronx are plagued with secretarial signatures from Mantle and Maris, but each appears here not just authentically, but in the boldest of hues. Also here are Ford, Berra, Howard, Skowron, Tresh, Lopez, Terry, Kubek, Blanchard and more. Only Clete Boyer (2/10) dips below 8/10 of the twenty-four signatures present. A fantastic, clubhouse signature-free specimen for the uncompromising collector. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
