1960's Willie Mays Single Signed Baseball. While there is certainly no shortage of "modern" singles from this legend of the centerfield grass, those from his playing days are relatively as scarce as hen's teeth. Sophisticated collectors understand the significant premium that must be attributed to such offerings, and we are quite pleased to be able to present this ball from the height of Say Hey's career. Note that the signature that trails the "Best Wishes" inscription is quite different from the one that Mays scrawls today, and that the ONL (Giles) ball makes a far more appealing home than an Official Major League ball, circa 2005. While the ink has mellowed slightly in the passing decades, it still presents as an entirely respectable 7/10. Also included is the rather tattered original box in which the ball has resided since its brush with greatness. LOA from PSA/DNA.
