    Description

1960's Warren Giles Signed Baseball. Remembered best for presiding over the National League's westward expansion (and his notorious reply "Who needs New York?" when asked about a Big Apple replacement), Giles was posthumously inducted to Cooperstown in 1979, just months after his passing. Here we find his 9+/10 blue ink signature on the side panel of one of his own ONL balls, expertly stripped of all other signatures that once shared space. A coating of shellac gives the ball its delectable caramel tone. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
