    Description

1960's Max Carey Single Signed Baseball. The finest defensive center fielder in the National League during his prime, "Scoops" also topped the charts in stolen bases ten times and retired as the most prolific base thief in League history. His career with the Pittsburgh Pirates spanned the days of Honus Wagner and Fred Clarke to the emergence of Pie Traynor and Paul Waner. Here he appears on the side panel of an apparently game used OAL (Cronin) ball, his blue ink offering a solid 9/10 on the Richter Scale. One of the best Carey signatures you'll find on horsehide. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
