Description

1960's Earle Combs Signed Baseball. A high-speed collision in July 1934 with the outfield wall of Sportsman's Park in St. Louis almost spelled the end for the Yankees' Hall of Fame center fielder, who lingered near death for several days as doctors tended to his fractured skull. He would ultimately recover but suffered another serious injury during his comeback and finally elected to retire and make way for a young rookie named DiMaggio. Here we encounter a rare single from the lead-off man of Murderer's Row, applied in 9/10 blue ballpoint ink to the side panel of an OAL (Cronin) ball. Two signatures have been professionally removed to provide the look of a rare single. A fine example of this scarce collectible. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
