    Description

1960 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Mazeroski's historic blast ended the fun for this American League Championship squad, but it's essentially the same team that won it all in 1961, one that rates among the greatest to call the Bronx home. The historic pairing of MVP Roger Maris and pinstriped legend Mickey Mantle is in full effect on this OAL (Cronin) sphere, with the M&M boys joined by thirty teammates including Ford, Berra, Crosetti, Terry, Kubek, Richardson, Howard and a rare authentic Stengel, who is almost always rendered in clubhouse form when he appears on Yankee team balls at all. Signature quality averages a very consistent 8/10, with only a single autograph (not listed above) dipping more than a point below that figure. A very impressive example from one of the most desirable post-war teams. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Another major house refused the work stating it was too unique for the artist. Heritage saw that as an advantage!
