1959 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball. While the great Roberto Clemente had every right to claim the sweet spot whenever a baseball and a pen passed through his hands it was rare that he did, so collectors should pay attention when such a specimen arises. Here the pride of Puerto Rico shares space with manager Danny Murtaugh (CH), each appearing in 9+/10 blue ink. They're joined by twenty-seven fellow Bucs, notably Mazeroski, Face, Friend, Hoak, Groat, Virdon, Haddix and more. Stuart is secretarial. All listed signatures maintain a boldness of 7/10 or better, as do all but seven of the balance, which are quite light and difficult to discern. Still a fine opportunity for an early-career Clemente and some other notable Pirate stars. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
