1958 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The team of the 1950s was by all accounts the powerful New York Yankees. Having secured eight of the previous nine AL pennants, including six World Series wins, the 1958 Yankees looked to add another jewel to the crown. The given offering was signed as the Yankees stopped and played a game in Richmond, Virginia as they returned to New York from their Florida Spring Training. The International League orb has some scuffing and was perhaps used in the exhibition. A clubhouse Mickey Mantle example appropriately occupies the sweet spot, with genuine inclusions here such as Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Enos Slaughter, Elston Howard, Don Larsen, manager Casey Stengel and more. Signatures number 17 in total. The Bronx Bombers would go on to avenge their '57 Fall Classic loss to the Milwaukee Braves to win the '58 title. LOA from PSA/DNA.
