    Description

1958 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. After losing World Series Game Seven to the Milwaukee Braves the season before, the Bronx Bombers turned the tables this season, coming back from a three games to one October deficit to win the Series in seven. The "never say die" squad celebrates their hard-fought victory with the application of twenty-eight blue ink signatures to this OAL (Harridge) ball, with the mighty Mickey alone on the sweet spot, and Howard, Berra, Ford, Richardson, Kubek, Slaughter, Duren, Crosetti, Larsen and Trucks among the others chiming in. Stengel, Maas and Johnson have been deemed clubhouse variety. Only Bobby Shantz dips below a consistent 9/10 quality, making this a fine remembrance of a great Yankee comeback. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
