    Description

1958 Casey Stengel Single Signed Baseball. Maybe the best Stengel single we've thus far encountered, offering greetings to its recipient from the club that avenged its 1957 World Series loss to the Milwaukee Braves in another grueling seven-game war. The inscription begins on the eastern panel and finishes at the sweet spot, reading "To Jim Norcross From N.Y. Yankees Base Ball Club and Casey Stengel, 1958." The Ol' Perfesser's blue ink is a magnificent 9+/10 in strength. "Official League Ball" is clean and white with no significant condition issues to note. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
