Description

1957 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A "lights out" performance by Milwaukee Braves ace Lou Burdette in Game Seven of the 1957 World Series denied this American League Championship club yet another World Series ring, but the Yanks would get their revenge in the 1958 October rematch. Here we find the cast of one of the great Bomber dynasties, anchored, of course, by the legendary Mickey Mantle (3/10) who claims his rightful sweet spot position upon this OAL (Harridge) baseball in his coveted early signature style. Fellow Hall of Famer Yogi Berra joins him there. Also present are twenty-two more teammates including Slaughter, Ford, Howard, McDougald, Bauer, Kubek, Richardson, Larsen and more. Stengel appears in clubhouse format. Signature quality averages 8/10 and ball is clean and white. Note: JSA has deemed the Stengel signature as clubhouse. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
