1956 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Widely considered by baseball historians to be one of the finest Yankees squads ever assembled, the World Championship team of 1956 is well represented on the provided OAL (Harridge) ball. Triple Crown winner Mickey Mantle (CH) shares the sweet spot with fellow Hall of Famer Yogi Berra, while nearby we encounter perfect game artisan Don Larsen, Slaughter, Martin (CH), McDougald, Skowron, Howard, Bauer, Silvera and more. Autograph quality averages 8/10. Twenty-four signatures total, Ford is secretarial. As an interesting note, this ball has a vintage number "33" penned on the Reach logo, similar to Yankees team balls from The Casey Stengel Collection (HA Auction #703) marked with Stengel's number "37." Bill Dickey wore number 33 in 1956. While we can't definitively attribute, the evidence would seem to point to former Dickey ownership. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
