Description

1956 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It was a season punctuated by a Triple Crown for Mantle, a perfect game for Larsen, and a World Championship for the Bronx. So it's little surprise that collectors tend to clamor for team balls from this Yankee edition, and here we provide a wonderful example. Sharing the sweet spot are three of the club's biggest names, Mantle, Berra and Martin, with the adjacent panels populated by the likes of Ford, Slaughter, Larsen, Howard, Skowron, Carey, Bauer and McDougald. Twenty-eight signatures are here in total, with only manager Casey Stengel appearing in his customary clubhouse format. Autograph quality is a consistent 8/10, and the OAL (Harridge) ball exhibits only minor, inconsequential toning. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
