    Description

1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. From 1941 through 1956, the Bronx Bombers and "Bums" were to square off no less than seven times-including four times in a four-year span during the '50's! The Yanks were to take six of those contests, including the rivalry's finale in 1956. The ensuing World Series was tense and taut (featuring a perfect game by Don Larsen) before the Yanks erupted for a convincing 9-0 triumph in the decisive Game 7. Offered is an Official American Association Baseball signed by members of Brooklyn's last pennant-winning squad. Highlights include, Don Drysdale, Carl Erskine, Don Newcombe, Gil Hodges, Roy Campanella, Don Zimmer, Sandy Koufax, Don Bessent, Walt Alston, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, etc. JSA Auction LOA.
