Description

1955 Hall of Fame Induction Multi-Signed Baseball. The Yankee Clipper was the big star of the 1955 induction ceremonies at Cooperstown this year, and he is counted among the twenty-two signers of this OAL (Cronin) baseball. Vance and Hartnett likewise got the call in 1955, and appear along with Cochrane, Frisch, Foxx, Sisler, Grove, Cronin, Traynor, Dickey, Hubbell, Simmons, Hornsby, Terry, Walsh, Gehringer, Clarke, Paul Waner and two George "Hooks" Wiltse signatures. Barely legible above Walsh is a 1/10 signature from the great Cy Young in his final Cooperstown appearance, as he would pass away later in the year. A simply staggering compilation of Hall of Fame legends here, averaging an impressive 8/10. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
