    Description

1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. The Bums are bums no more, finally topping the Yanks after a streak of five heartbreaking Subway Series. Arguably the most desirable post-war team ball, the 1955 Dodgers model is instantly recognizable by the appearance of Frank Kellert, who called Ebbets home only during that storied season. Joining him are all the names you know and love: Robinson, Campanella, Reese, Snider(clubhouse), Alston, Lasorda, Newcombe, Hodges, Furillo, Labine and more. Twenty-three autographs are here in all, ranging in boldness from 3/10 to 8/10, with a 6/10 average. The "Dodgers" souvenir baseball is moderately toned with a few dark patches, and a tape stain crosses Alston's sweet spot signature. Still a very respectable example of a ball on thousands of collectors' wish lists. JSA Auction LOA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
