1954 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball. The young 1954 Detroit Tigers team featured a fair amount of youthful talent, including 1953 AL Rookie of the Year Harvey Kuenn. Add to that a 19-year-old future Hall of Famer named Al Kaline and this squad appears to have a promising future. Here we present a lightly shellacked OAL (Harridge) baseball, with signatures of the aforementioned youngsters joined here by 23 others. Other significant inclusions are Ray Boone, Walt Dropo, coach Schoolboy Rowe, and Frank Bolling. With the exception of Kaline, Kuenn, and Ted Gray, whose signatures rate 5/10, the remaining names appear in 9/10 status. LOA from PSA/DNA.
