Description

1953 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The first and only World Championship "five-peat" team is represented here, a squad that is by all metrics the most dominant in the long and distinguished history of the Bronx Bombers. The number "37" penned on the "Reach" logo of this OAL (Harridge) ball would appear to indicate the ball derives from the personal collection of Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel, who is counted among the twenty-seven signers. Other notables: Mantle, Mize, Ford, Berra, Rizzuto, Martin, Lopat, McDougald, Woodling, Sain, Houk and more. Stengel is a bit light, but the balance of autographs averages a conservative 8/10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
