    Description

1953 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The Yanks would make it five World Championships in a row this season, establishing a Major League record that will almost certainly never be broken. Twenty-seven signatures from the men who won a ring for the thumb appear on this OAL (Harridge) ball, most notably a twenty-two year old Mickey Mantle who signs in his highly desirable rookie-era style. Other noteworthy names include Rizzuto, Berra, Ford, Martin, Woodling, McDougald, Bauer, Sain and more. Signature quality ranges from 2/10 to 9+/10, with most on the higher end of that scale. Chipping of the shellac accounts for the lesser grades, and the Mantle is affected to some degree, though otherwise the ink boldness is 8/10. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
