    Description

1953 Jacksonville Tars Team Signed Baseball with Hank Aaron. Signed before he notched home run number one at the Major League level, this fine minor league orb includes the autograph of a young Henry Aaron while he played for the Milwaukee Braves' Class-A affiliate in the South Atlantic League. Aaron excelled despite the ugly chains of segregation that still ruled much of the country at the time. The benevolent skipper Ben Geraghty helped Aaron during this tough time and played an integral role in the player's quick rise to the majors. The Marty Marion souvenir orb includes the signatures of twenty-two members of the '53 Tars, including Aaron and Geraghty. Tremendous condition considering the age, with all signatures rating 9/10 or better on clean, white horsehide. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
