1953 Brooklyn Dodgers & Pittsburgh Pirates Signed Baseball. Though we cannot confirm it, the story of this ball is that it was hit by Duke Snider during a battle between the Bums and the Bucs, and later presented to fifteen combatants for signing. Among the autographs on the ONL (Giles) sphere: Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Chuck Dressen, Joe Black, Jim Gilliam, Carl Erskine. Autographs average 6/10 beneath a coating of shellac, and the ball exhibits some staining and minor damage to the stamping, well clear of the signatures. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
