    Description

1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A lonely life sequestered in its original (and included) Reach packaging pays dividends today, as this OAL (Harridge) ball presents one of the boldest autograph rosters from this historic Yankee club to reach the auction block in some time. Of course this World Championship club is best remembered for its single season of DiMaggio/Mantle partnership, and each Bronx legend appears among the twenty-seven signatures present. Adding further appeal is the rare appearance of an authentic Stengel autograph, and the likes of Dickey, Mize, Berra, Rizzuto, Martin, Crosetti, Bauer and Woodling. Only a minor amount of ink "hazing" is to be noted, but our catalog imagery should accurately illustrate the tremendous boldness of the autographs. Only the 1955 Dodgers could possibly challenge this team for post-war desirability, elevating this marvelous example to an elite level. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
