1951 Hall of Famers Multi-Signed Ball with Cobb, Young, Foxx. We haven't been able to track down exactly what event brought together this dazzling array of early baseball legends on February 2, 1951 (according to notation on the ball), but we sure wish we could have been there. The ONL (Frick) ball is autographed by nineteen in bold blue ink, and the cast of characters is outrageous: Cobb, Young, Foxx, Greenberg, Walsh, Clarke, Chandler, Durocher, Hornsby, Frick, Hubbell, Traynor, Maranville, Cochrane, Gehringer and Red Barber. That's sixteen Hall of Famers! The only folks lacking a Cooperstown plaque: Horace Stoneham, Chuck Dressen and Jack Warhop. A thin coating of shellac has served its intended purpose admirably, maintaining an average signature strength of 9/10. Some minor bleeding of the ink to Hornsby, Dressen, Chandler and Durocher must be noted, but they still remain bold and impressive. ONL (Frick) ball. You won't find too many baseballs with a more impressive roster of talent! Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
