    Description

1950 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. An apparent game used ball (though the ball's stamping has faded from existence), one can reasonably assume that the sphere saw action during the July 30th doubleheader at Comiskey, where these Yanks notched two wins against the Chicago White Sox. A vintage notation makes reference to that date. The team's Hall of Fame leader Joe DiMaggio takes his well-earned sweet spot position, surrounded by a full roster of twenty-nine teammates including Stengel, Dickey, Rizzuto, Mize, Ford, Berra, Martin, Crosetti, Henrich, Houk and more. All the signatures are rendered in remarkably bold blue ink, though a small handful are reduced to 7/10 quality from surface scuffing. The balance remains on the 9/10 level. Minor toning causes no distractions. A fantastic representation of this World Championship orb. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
