    Description

1948 National League All-Star Team Signed Baseball from The Stan Musial Collection. Hall of Fame managers Leo Durocher and Bucky Harris represented the National and American Leagues respectively in this Midsummer Classic at Musial's home ballpark. This was the losing side in the five to two Sportsman's Park contest, but the cast of characters represents one of the best teams ever assembled, including Musial, Schoendienst, Ashburn, Mize, Slaughter, Kiner, Durocher and more. Twenty-one signatures appear on the OAL (Harridge) ball, ranging from 4/10 to 8/10. Some ink bleeding and some foxing, but still a solid representation of a rare team ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
